( as promised, the delivery of esikko's gift comes at random, but surprisingly, it does manage to find the man inside his bodyguard's quarters than out and about. a golden peacock staff member arrives with a large package, and bows their head. Delivery to Mr. Bloemrose from Aventurine.

( The note is handwritten, this time, on a page from a notepad with the Golden Peacock's name and logo on it. It's the middle of the afternoon when Esikko slips it, folded neatly into a little square, into Dabi's palm. He hardly leaves time for a reaction, giving a little wave as he steps back, half a skip, and turns to leave the suite. Dabi's been so kind to let him sleep here, despite the interruptions, but he has some things to gather and prepare for.
In the gardens, it's not difficult to find Esikko. Most of the people who are out at this hour are in the lower levels, indulging in alcohol, drugs, sex, or all of the above. Esi, though, is situated just to the side of a plot of unlabeled flowers. There's a large variety of them, some his own plantings, but most belonging to the House— but his set up is actually on the pathway and grass just beside it. There are various things set out in a clear formation; candles, tufts of rabbit fur, strands of hair, flower petals, and separate plants arranged along with the geometric patterns of the blood drawn beneath them. The projected moon and stars above them help create quite the scene, as false as it is.
Esikko is there, crouched down, his finger tracing out the last blood trail of a line in one of his complex shapes. Beside him is an assortment of jars of blood, including the very one he had Dabi cough into back during the flower illness that spread across the resort. The rest were gathered by him personally, too, like stealing from the clinic, or asking his bodyguard, or even bleeding himself. An elaborate little setup with a strange not-so-little collection. The only other thing on his person is a little golden journal, branded with the Golden Peacock, clutched in his hand.
The Prince lifts his head when he hears someone approaching, and pushes himself to stand up. )
You came. ( There's something like happiness in the tone he uses, and he folds his arms in front of himself, holding the journal there close to his chest. )
Are you curious? You want to see how I can put this all to use, right?
( This is clearly thrilling to him. Not just the blood— the magic, the things he's about to poke and prod at, and maybe even the company. He's made a lot of use of Dabi lately, and while it's not like him to dwell on guilt or anything like that, Esikko can't help but want to show his own usefulness in return. To reach forward the only way he knows how. )

[ Fuuta's been burnt by this STUPID PLACE busting down his security filters for NO REASON at RANDOM TIMES that he doesn't trust the network much; at least he's never had that issue with private messages (so far). ( the glistering of bright yellows is blinding in ways kakavasha is not used to in the least, and as he's led down hallways seemingly endless, his eyes never truly look forward; instead, there are walls, and things hanging on the walls that kakavasha doesn't know the name of, and furniture kakavasha doesn't know the name of, and objects kakavasha doesn't know the name of, sitting atop the furniture - but if there's one thing he knows, is that it reflects light so beautifully he would have loved to show it to his sister. maybe, once he finds her again in such a huge place, they can look at all the pretty things this weird dream has to offer. maybe he slept, and suddenly the men in black from beyond the stars took him somewhere safe, somewhere away from sigonia? even though no one in here is wearing the same clothes they do... oh well.

he's all smiles, at least, excited to see someone else potentially his age? all the other kids in their clan had been slightly older than him, so isn't this exciting? and maybe he should have worried whether the kid even speaks sigonian, too, but if he thinks about it, the tall people who were not avgin could also understand him, so - well. he might as well try, and if he waves and smiles and sees as harmless as he could, maybe he won't scare off his new friend! )

( after seeing plenty of the fuckery in the resort--he knows things didn't go right. so there's a delivery, in the early morning hours on the fourth: in a small box outside esikko's door are a few different sized bottles of blood--all capped, all relatively full--and a few bottles of cold tea, all neatly tucked together to keep anything from breaking. the card taped to the front of the box reads: )

next to the watering can is a small black pot, filled with soil, that has a tag sticking out of it that gives instructions on how to grow whatever is inside of it: he won't say, but as it's something that can bloom on and off all year, esikko will soon discover it to be anthurium if he takes care of it right. finally, the more grotesque gift is another jar of his blood: this one much larger than any of the others he's given before, with a cheeky sticker on the outside that says 'refills available'.
